A 3D mock-up, made of resin, allegedly reveals what the HTC One 2 is going to look like. The specs, given to the person who created this mock-up from an insider, shows a device similar in looks to the HTC One, but with a larger 5 inch screen. With an expected 1080 x 1920 resolution, the screen's pixel density would drop slightly from the leading 468ppi seen on HTC's flagship Android model, to the 441ppi available on the Samsung Galaxy S4. If HTC decides to go with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 CPU, we could see 4K video from the device.
The resin mock-up shows the BoomSound speakers on the front of the phone, and on the back there apparently is an opening for a double flash. The rear camera is tipped to remain a 4 UltraPixel snapper while the front-facing camera will weigh in at 2.1MP. 16GB of native storage will be on board with a microSD slot available. We could see a 32GB variant of the phone, as well. Android 4.4 will be pre-installed out of the box.
One published report on Wednesday suggests that we will see the HTC One 2 (or whatever it will be named) introduced at MWC 2014 in Barcelona next February.
